What to bring for a successful trip to Bon Air Club?
The adventure begins when you pack your backpack! At Bon Air Club, we’re sure you’ll find all the classics you need for the perfect moment. For the rest, follow our advice on what to take with you!
You know the drill: you’re leaving in a couple of hours, your bedroom and the kids’ are a mess, and yet you need to make the right choices for a successful vacation. We’re talking as much about the number of children’s underwear as we are about all the “extras”: games, books, accessories, all those little extras that will make this precious time a truly unique moment!
And this time there are two additional challenges.
Setting off on an outdoor adventure doesn’t mean packing your bags, but rather your backpack. Priorities change: how many hiking socks? Do we have a water bottle for everyone? Is the headlamp recharged? Do we have energy bars? You get the idea: going on a nature vacation means a slightly different checklist.
And you’re not going just anywhere: you’re going to Bon Air Club! There’s no need for a tent: a cabin with authentic comfort awaits you. We’re well aware that this is a bit of a departure from the norm: no hotel, no campsiteYour new destination is a hybrid space, and it’s time to take stock!
1. What we provide: the basics of comfort and logistics
It’s simple: when you arrive, you can breathe a sigh of relief and indulge in the ritual of dropping onto your bed and saying “that’s it, it’s vacation”. Bon Air Club offers a level of hospitality worthy of the best on offer – a refuge atmosphere, yes, but everything will be ready for you when you arrive!
This will already be there to ensure your basic logistics:
- Sheets and linen: forget the sleeping bag that takes up all the space in the trunk. Your beds are made, with real, cozy sheets, and the bedding is of an ideal standard for restful sleeps.
- Camp kitchen: we provide all the crockery and cutlery you need, as well as a kettle for morning tea overlooking the forest. Take advantage of our catering service or prepare your own recipe: it’s up to you.
- Bon Air Club’s little extra: we’ve slipped a hot water bottle into each cabin. And why? Because it’s the ultimate in comfort after a cool day, and a good substitute for any heater turned up to full blast.
- Heating is provided by a small wood-burning stove. Your thermostat? The number of logs!
There’s already a lot to tick off your checklist!

2. What we can lend you: your outdoor emergency equipment (and bonuses!)
Not everyone is equipped like a seasoned hiker, and that’s only to be expected. Of course, we advise you to bring your own gear, so you can enjoy your activities all the more. But Bon Air Club is there to cover certain needs!
These accessories are available on loan, while stocks last – so think of them as “emergency” accessories.
- Boots and K-way: the only thing we can’t control is the weather, but don’t worry: we’ve got just what you need. What’s more, at Bon Air Club, we believe that any weather is a good time for adventure!
- Water bottles: never thirsty at Bon Air Club, that’s our motto. A hydrated adventure is the basis, and that’s what we’re here for!
- Bikes: we have a quality fleet of bikes, but they’re not extensible: call us beforehand to find out what we can do for you. If you have your own bikes, that’s a must. If not, we’ll find a solution!
- Board games and reading: yes, Bon Air Club has a games library and a library! Have you finished your reading sooner than expected, or are your kids fed up with Skyjo? We should be able to help.
- Music: vinyl turntables (with vinyl included, we assure you), which will also act as Bluetooth speakers, can be reserved on site!
